Preschool at CPS is full of hands on activities and fun. Learning is interactive and facilitated through crafts, activity pages, snacks, and games that reinforce the concepts being taught. Bible stories are acted out to discover story comprehension. Learning the letter Dd might involve doughnut making (and eating) and learning a duck song. Snack time becomes an excellent way to sort by color, count, and create graphs. Even conflicts are dealt with by helping the children learn how to communicate their needs and feelings with others. Four parties (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines, and Easter) are included during the year.
Dedicated teachers take the time to know and cherish each individual child, understanding every one of them is created by God for His purpose. Imagination is highly valued and students are encouraged to suggest activities during free times.
