For over 42 years, CHRISTIAN has provided a quality, Christ-centered education in St Charles County, MO. It is our goal to equip students to impact the communities they are called to lead and serve – whether right here in O’Fallon or around the world – all for the glory of God. At CHRISTIAN, we believe that every child can flourish at school. Our students receive all manner of meaningful learning experiences– through academics, arts, and athletics to develop character, maturity and understanding from a foundation of Christian faith. These dynamic experiences, contained in a caring environment where students are known and encouraged daily by a committed faculty, is what differentiates a CHRISTIAN education.

Who We Are
We are Christian — a community of students, parents, teachers, and administrators with a shared vision of creating a biblically-grounded foundation for students to stand on throughout their lives.
Christian School District educates students in a Christ—centered atmosphere by discipling students toward academic, artistic, and athletic excellence. We partner with mission-minded families to integrate Christian faith and academic learning for their children from preschool through grade 12.

Our History
Christian School District (originally Living Word Christian School) was established in 1980 by a group of families to serve the educational and spiritual needs of their children. Since then CHRISTIAN has grown from 30 students, who met in the basement of a church, to over 600+ students, serving Preschool through 12th grade on two campuses.
Christian High School celebrated its first graduates in 1998 and opened its new school building in 2000. In 2005, a collegiate-grade gymnasium and another classroom wing were added. The middle school wing, serving grades 6-8, opened in 2009.
In 2008, CHRISTIAN received accreditation with both AdvancED and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). This accreditation opened the doors for competitive athletics and fine arts as the High School was granted membership into the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA).
Before/after school programs and summer programs were also added. CHRISTIAN continued expanding its academic programs to include dual credit, honors, and AP courses, as well as a resource rooms for students with learning differences.
CHRISITAN partnered with Willott Road Community Church in 2015 moving its PreK-5th grade to this new campus in St. Peters.
In 2016, Christian High School initiated use of their new state-of-the-art event field and track.
Living Word Christian School rebranded to Christian School District in 2019 and launched its new web presence.
In 2022, Christian School District took further steps to come together as one, as the Elementary campus was relocated to our main campus in O'Fallon. The preschool was relocated just under 2 miles from the campus at The Summit Church in O'Fallon, MO.
During the 2023-24 school year, we will be expanding our campus to add an additional 9 classrooms and multipurpose space. Learn more on Phase 2 and continued updates on our YouTube channel.
